Handmade by Housewives takes all reasonable care to ensure that all details, descriptions and prices of products appearing in our online store are correct at the time when the relevant information is placed into store.

Although every effort is made to keep The Handmade by Housewives Online Store as up to date as possible, the information appearing at a particular time may not always reflect the position exactly at the moment you place an order.

Delivery

Orders will be dispatched via Royal Mail 1st Class. If you require a guarenteed service please email us to discuss your requirements or select the relevant postage at the check out, an additional charge will be incured with this service.
Please allow 2 - 3 working days, longer in peak times or for large orders. Delivery times are NOT guaranteed and we cannot be held responsible if delivery takes longer, but we do offer a guaranteed service.
Personalised or bespoke items are subject to a longer delivery time, you will be advised of this at time of order.

Payment

Our standard payment option is via pay pal. We do not at this time accept credit or debit cards. We will be happy to accept a cheque or postal order however please be advised that delivery will not take place until funds have cleared with our bank.

Returns Policy

We want you to be happy every time you shop with us, so we make our returns policy simple. We have a "no quibbles" guarantee for most of our products which means that if for any reason you are unhappy with the item you have purchased, just return it to us in its original condition within 7 days and we will issue a full refund for the price of the item. Handmade by Housewives will NOT refund the return delivery charges, cost for returning goods to us, unless the item has been delivered wrongly or is faulty.
Unfortunately, any items that we sell that have been requested to be personalised to you and produced specifically for you will only be refunded if they arrive damaged or faulty.

Privacy Policy

We are committed to protecting your privacy. We will only use the information that we collect about you lawfully (in accordance with the Data Protection Act 1998). We collect information about you for 2 reasons: firstly, to process your order and second, to provide you with the best possible service.
We will not e-mail you in the future unless you have given us your consent.
We will give you the chance to refuse any marketing email and will never pass your information on to any other trader now or in the future unless you have expressly asked us to do so.
We will never collect sensitive information about you.
You can check the information that we hold about you by emailing us. If you find any inaccuracies we will delete or correct it promptly. The personal information which we hold will be held securely in accordance with our internal security policy.
