It will soon be all change for Handmade by Housewives, firstly you will soon see a new name "The Bratton Bag Company" and a new colour scheme, magenta, chocolate and mushroom. We will also be narrowing our product range to concentrate solely on the Bratton Bag range. Before this can happen, there will be a huge sale of all our existing non bag stock to make room for the changes. So watch out for the bargins coming here soon.
Handmade by Housewives is the dream of Trish & Becky, two friends both with a passion for fabrics and all things handmade. Handmade By Housewives started in January 2009 over a pot of coffee, homemade carrot cake and an eclectic collection of gorgeous fabrics. Initially hand decorating jute shopping bags now affectionately known as the 'Bratton Bag'.
Since then we have grown and now hand produce an extensive range of individual and unique gifts which we adore and hope that you will too! Because we produce our own products we are able to confidently offer a service which you won't find on the High Street. All of our products can be personalised to specific colours or by adding a name or phrase creating a truly unique gift. Some of our long standing favourite products are lavender hearts, mice & pillows, jute shopping & gift bags, fabric bread & trinket baskets, felt & crochet corsages and our truly gorgeous twiggy hearts.
